Swastika Allegedly Drawn On Truck Delivering to Xpedx

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Thursday, November 8 to Friday, November 9.
Thursday, November 8
8:19 a.m.: On West Street, a caller reported that several trucks were vandalized overnight. It appeared someone drilled into the gas tanks and drained the gas. Two North Reading men were summonsed for malcious damage to a motor vehicle and larceny under $250.
10:32 a.m.: A caller reported that the previous day at about 2 p.m. while delivering to xpedx, the teamsters on strike drew a swastika on his truck. He did not notice the damage until today.
9:15 p.m.: Report of a large appliance in the roadway on Lowell Street. There was a dishwasher on the corner of Lowell and Commonwealth, but it is not in the road.
9:50 p.m.: A caller on Chestnut Street reported a vehicle struck and tree and was on its side. There was no one in the vehicle. Officers checked the area and the owner’s residence for the operator. The registered owner was summonsed for leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.
Friday, November 9
6:10 a.m.: A van was reported on fire at Avalon Oaks. Two parties were transported to the station, and the fire extinguisher in one of the police cruisers was discharged.
6:39 a.m.: Two vehicles in the driveway of a Middlesex Ave. home had the air let out of their tires overnight.
7:05 a.m.: Two walk-in parties reported receiving threatening statements about 10 minutes ago while driving on Shadylane Drive.
