This week's Best of Patch Readers' Choice was a two-restaurant race. But in the end, it was The Country Chef Restaurant that was victorious.

Wilmington Patch readers narrowed down the options for the best place to go for a Mother's Day brunch to The Country Chef and As Good As It Gets. With all the votes tallied, The Country Chef earned 15 selections while As Good As It Gets received 9 votes.

The Country Chef was in the running a few weeks back for the best breakfast in Wilmington, though As Good As It Gets eventually took the vote.

According to Patch reader Moxcoak, The Country Chef is a popular place in town.

"A family favorite," Moxcoak wrote in the comments section of the restaurant's Patch listing. "Great food and service. Sometimes there is a line, but it's worth the wait."
