Readers' Choice: Vote for the Best Bakery
Patch readers nominated the best bakery in Wilmington, so vote to determine which one is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.
Everyone needs a sweet treat once in a while. So where do you think the best bakery is in Wilmington? Cast your vote to let us know.
Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows about the area to participate.
Nominations were accepted on Wilmington Patch through July 9 and include:
- Wowo's Goodies
- Robbins Nest Bakery (Wilmington Farmers Market)
- Panera Bread
- Dunkin' Donuts
Winners in all Readers' Choice categories will be announced on Aug. 24.

I love Robbins Nest. Her cupcakes are the BEST and my kids love, love, love her cake pops.
(She even makes dog treats, which makes my dog very happy.)
Jenn's great! I hope she opens her own bakery in town. I'd be there all the time. Actually, that might be bad. My hips will never be the same :-)

Wowo is incredible. Their chocolate cake is to die for. Not to mention my kids love love love gluten free Whoopie pies. Wowo's is hands down #1.

I LOVE Wowo's!! there isn't 1 thing I have tries from the
that I haven't loved! cupcakes, whoopee pies, power bars, granola... it's all fabulous!! I love the fact that in these busy times they DELIVER!! it's saved me many times! LOVE WOWO's!!!

Wowo's!!!! Not only is there stuff amazingly delicious, but the have a whole line of allergen free food!!!! For kids who are allergic to Peanuts, TreeNuts, Egg and Dairy, most, if not ALL bakeries are off limits to them. Wowo's has changed all of this!!! They continually hook up my 7 year old with lots of baked goodies!! GO Wowo's!!!!

Love all of Wowos Goodies. You cannot beat the carrot cake. I know the Johnson's use nothing but the best ingredients. They make satisfying nutrition bars now, that are delicious. That should make it easier to loose some of the extra summer fun pounds!
