Question of the Day: What is the Most Dangerous Intersection in Town?
Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
It happens just about every day. One car is driving through an intersection, thinks they have the right of way or just doesn't see the other car, and the two collide. It doesn't always lead to serious injury or damage, but in other cases it does.
So for today's questions, we want you to help us compile a list.
Where are the most dangerous intersections in town? What streets are the most dangerous to drive on? Is there a certain spot in Wilmington where you just can't see the other cars coming as you cross the intersection?
Help us create the list, and we'll follow up with a poll to see what other residents in town think is most dangerous.
It's simple. Just start the conversation in the comments section below and let us know your thoughts on dangerous driving locations.

I think the intersection at High St, Middlesex Ave and Rt 62 is the worst. Every time I cross to Middlesex Ave from High St going towards Salem St people think they have the right of way turning left onto 62 towards Rt 93 and have to avoid hitting them. They need a green arrow before any fatalities happen.

Absolutely Glen Road and Middlesex, I though they were putting a traffic light that would work with the Wildwood and Middlesex as well.

Aldrich Rd and Rte 129
Not really an intersection but the lights pulling out of the Staples Plaza and Main St.-there are always accidents there.

Hi Kim: You are right. Here's an article from the Town Crier this summer: http://homenewshere.com/wilmington_town_crier/news/article_1a547ddc-b946-11e0-8161-001cc4c002e0.html.
Speaking of Glen Road & Middlesex Avenue, sometimes taking a left (towards the Town Common) coming out of the library parking lot is VERY difficult when there's a wake going on at the Nichols Funeral Home and cars line the street.

Late to this one, but wanted to add: I don't know why, but when you take Concord St Exit 39 from 93N, there are a HUGE amount of accidents with cars on Concord St that don't stop at the light..I really don't think they see the light at all...at least once a week, huge collision.
