It has been a family tradition since it started in 1980. I did it with my parents and now I enjoy it with my husband and kids and the rest of my family!!! My husband and I got engaged on the common during 4th of July week and was almost married there as well! We always look forward to it!!!

It is a week that all Wilmington residents came be proud of. The reason I am confident that we are doing the right thing in celebrating our countries birthday the way we do. Is that so many our neighboring towns people come to Wilmington to join us for this special week. And even the local complainers are quiet this week,
Maybe our town is not so bad after all!!! Have fun and enjoy your families.
