Police Log: OUI Crash and Harmful Threats

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Friday, June 1 to Sunday, June 3.
Friday, June 1
8:26 a.m.: An Allen Park Drive resident called police and reported a deceased skunk in the pool. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
9:50 a.m.: Officer Gillis received a call from a teacher who reported a student- aged female with an older male walking in the area of Middlesex Ave. The female student was transported to Wilmington High School.
3 p.m.: A caller reported her husband made threats of suicide after a recent argument. Verizon Security was notified in an attempt to ping the phone. The longitude and latitude were given as Advanced Auto in Tewksbury. Police in Tewksbury located the male, and they handled the situation.
5:16 p.m.: Three cars were involved in crash in front of Rocco's on Main Street. Three vehicles were towed from the scene and police returned with one driver in custody. Edward R. Lord III, 25, of 9 Boutwell Street in Wilmington, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense, and texting while operating a motor vehicle.
10:13 p.m.: A car was reported in the woods on the side of the Hampshire Press parking lot on Main Street. Fire Department members were called as the vehicle drove into a tree and the tree landed on top of the vehicle. The party was removed from the vehicle and transported to an area hospital.
Saturday, June 2
10:02 a.m.: A Verdun Road resident reported a dump truck dumped a load of yard debris on her property and left. The homeowner called back and said the pile was dumped in her lawn in error and the responsible party removed the pile.
1:45 p.m.: At some point between midnight and 9 a.m. on Saturday a Reed Street caller reported that her sister's purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle. The caller was advised to have the sister call back to speak with an officer regarding credit cards.
5 p.m.: A former Planet Fitness employee said he was told a police officer went to the gym looking for him this past week. He did not know why police were looking for him and was concerned and hoped the officer could contact him.
7:20 p.m.: A caller reported that during an argument with her boyfriend he started making suicidal threats, jumped out of the vehicle and headed toward Route 38. The man returned home with his sister and was located on Pine Ave. at a friend's house, where he said he took some time to cool down. Sunday, June 3
12:50 a.m.: A person walked into the station and reported that a group in another vehicle got out of the car, smashed his sun roof and continued to follow the vehicle around. The incident happened in Billerica so the driver was advised to file a report with that department.
1:06 a.m.: Sonny's Mobil on the Run employee said a customer threw an item at him and left the store. The male party came into the store and threw a tampon at the employee before leaving in a Mazda in an unknown direction.
3:52 p.m.: A car versus building accident was called in on Church Street. There was no damage done to the building and just minor damage to a pole and damage to bark mulch in the area. The vehicle was towed.
9:13 p.m.: Anonymous caller reported loud music coming from Pouliot Place area. The radio was playing outside during a graduation party. The homeowner was advised to keep it down.
