Police Log: Foot Chase Leads to Drug Arrest

The following information was supplied by the Wilmington Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Wednesday, December 19, to Thursday, December 20.

Wednesday, December 19

8:21 p.m.: Wilmington officers assisted in Woburn with a male party on foot in the area of Main Street at the town line. The man was taken into protective custody for domestic assault and battery.

8:57 p.m.: A caller reported two or three youths spray painting under the overpass at Lake Street. The parties were sent on their way. There was no evidence of graffiti noted and parties were observed prior to contact and were not tagging.

Thursday, December 20

12:01 a.m.: An officer located two females on foot in front of Lucci’s. The two women were picked up on scene by a responsible party.

1:26 a.m.: Police noticed suspicious activity in the Staples parking lot. The three males were looking for a set of lost keys to another vehicle in the lot. They will be going to get a different set of keys.

2:06 a.m.: An Evergreen Drive caller reported a physical altercation between herself and a female neighbor. Police responded to the scene.

2:19 a.m.: A male party was sleeping in the vestibule at Bank of America. A 27-year-old Salem, N.H., man was taken into protective custody and released.

3:51 a.m.: Police were off with two male parties on foot in the area of Mill Road. One juvenile was taken to his residence and left with his parents. Alex Kittredge, 24, of 25 Mill Road, Wilmington, was arrested and charged with possession of Class E drugs and possession of Class
