Police Log: Animal Issues and a Laptop Stolen

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Monday, August 13 to Wednesday, August 15.
Monday, August 13
10:37 a.m.: At Wagstaff Automotive Garage, a caller reported that over the weekend property was stolen from his business. Officers spoke to the reporting party, who said scrap metal and car parts were taken.
2:27 p.m.: Outside of Panera Bread, a small dog was in a vehicle with no windows cracked. The Animal Control Officer spoke with the operator who was advised to never leave a dog alone in a vehicle with no ventilation again. The dog was given water, the vehicle was started and the air conditioning was left on.
Tuesday, August 14
1:16 p.m.: A Marion Street resident reported that their cat has been missing for a week. The animal was pregnant and about to have a litter of kittens. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
3:13 p.m.: Officers were called to King Street for a possible overdose and a female party was transported to Winchester Hospital. Joashua A. Kivlehan, 18, of 29A King Street was charged with possession of Class B drugs and being present where heroin is kept.
4:51 p.m.: An off duty officer reported a male party walking on Shawsheen Ave. is possibly an individual reported missing from Woburn a few days prior. The male party was not the missing male, but he did have an active warrant out of Lowell District Court from 2002 and was advised to get it taken care of tomorrow.
9:51 p.m.: Police pulled a vehcile over in the Elia's parking lot and arrested Kelsey Grondin, 23, of 10 Gilbert Street in Lawrence for an outstanding warrant.
Wednesday, August 15
3:29 p.m.: On Allen Park Drive, the screen door of a home was cut and a laptop was reported missing. The incident happened within the hour.
5:20 p.m.: Dispatch received a report of a coyote in the work site on Burlington Ave.
