The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Friday, August 24 to Sunday, August 26.

Friday, August 24

3:02 p.m.: On Cedarcrest Road, a resident reported that an Android phone worth about $300 was stolen.

6:07 p.m.: Mass Bay Commuter Rail reported a male party walking on the tracks towards the center. Officers could not locate the man upon their arrival.

11:09 p.m.: An anonymous caller on Molloy Road reported a group of kids playing hockey in the area and they were being loud. The youths were advised and ended playing for the night.

11:37 p.m.: State Police reported a male party screaming into the phone before the 911 call ended. Wilmington officers reported a male party on Taft Road semi-responsive. The man was transported to Winchester Hospital after a suspected drug overdose.

Saturday, August 25

1:17 a.m.: A Nashua, N.H., woman was summonsed for subsequent offense of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

9:00 a.m.: According to a reporting party, someone was on the roof at Simards Roast Beef the previous night and cut the power to the building. No damage was done, the switch was just turned off. An employee will contact the station when he is able to retrieve the surveillance video.

11:39 a.m.: On Dorchester Street, a caller reported that sometime the previous day his mailbox was taken. A 20-year-old Tewksbury man was summonsed for larceny over $250.

1:22 p.m.: A Grove Terrace caller reported that two youths attempted to break into their neighbor's shed. A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested for attempting to commit a crime and an 18-year-old Wilmington man was summonsed on the same charge.

Sunday, August 26

2:37 a.m.: Police arrested Kimberly A. Chambers, 32, of 13 Brassie Way in North Reading, on an outstanding warrant. Jeremy C. Pepper, 27, of 201 Water Street in Saugus was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.

10:58 a.m.: More mailboxes were taken from Dorchester and Hopkins Streets. The same 20-year-old Tewksbury male was again summonsed for larceny over $250.
