When it comes to Patch readers, we know pets are an important part of your lives. Everyone knows their pet is the cutest, and now Patch is giving you the chance to prove it with our best looking pet contest. 

This contest is open to readers of: Arlington, Lynnfield, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Reading-North Reading, Somerville, Stoneham, Wakefield, Wilmington, Winchester, and Tewksbury.

Entering is simple. Starting today, upload your favorite photo of your pet by clicking the "Upload Photos and Video" button at the top of this article. (It’s super easy – just make sure you are a registered user first). In the caption, tell us your pet’s name. 

Then vote for your favorite picture by giving the photo number in the comments below. One vote per person please. 

Voting will end at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 21.

The winner will be announced before noon on Wednesday, Aug. 22.  

We’ve added a little incentive. The winning submission will receive a $50 gift card plus bragging rights.
