Reading Victim in Child Sex Crime Linked To Wakefield Day Care Business

WAKEFIELD--A Wakefield husband and wife are facing numerous charges in connection with an illegal day care service that subjected at least 13 children - one of them just days old - to horrific sexual abuse that was recorded on video.

Stoneham Police Searching For Suspect in Home Break-In

STONEHAM--A man allegedly broke into a Stoneham home late Monday night, according to police.

At 11:37 p.m. Monday, police responded to Katherine Road for a report of a breaking and entering into a home, according to police. The suspect allegedly gained access to the house when he "pried (the) basement door (open)," said Detective Robert McKinnon in an email to Stoneham Patch Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect entered the home, which was occupied by one person, according to McKinnon, but nothing was stolen. He added that no one was injured during the breaking and entering incident.  

Trio of Woburn Residents Allegedly Stole Packages From a Stoneham Home

STONEHAM--A trio of Woburn residents are accused of stealing packages delivered to an Elm Street home Monday, according to a Stoneham Police press statement.

Around 1 p.m., police responded to Elm Street following a report of a theft of two packages that were delivered to a house on that street, according to the statement. The caller reported seeing a delivery made to the home, as two packages were left at the front door, according to police.

"After the delivery truck drove away, the witness then observed a blue Toyota Corolla, stop at the home," reads the statement. "The occupants of the Toyota exited the car, approached the home, picked-up the packages, returned to their vehicle and drove away. The witness began to follow the Toyota, contacting police and providing the license plate number on the vehicle as well as a description of the suspects."

Stronach Shocks Collegues, Won't Seek Re-Election to Board of Selectmen

TEWKSBURY--Anne Marie Stronach has announced she will not be seeking a third term to the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen.

First elected in 2007, Stronach said she doesn't feel she can make the commitment needed to serve the community for another three-year term.

I agree Steve! And he will be as no one likes child molesters. But at this point it's only fair to state alleged.

I wish they put up the wife's photo. She lures kids into the home for her husband. She could work at any number of jobs (store clerk, sales, etc.), but instead, she chooses 2 professions that involve young children (daycare and tutoring). She is more than just guilty of knowing, she is guilty of aiding and abetting. Aiding and abetting a child molester, much worse than aiding a burglar for example.
