School Building Project Estimated to Cost $13 to $16 Million More

The Secondary School Building Committee (SSBC) held its second public forum Thursday evening to explain why the school building project is over budget and how much more the town will need to complete the school the way it was originally designed. The range of additional funds will be $13 to $16 million.

Nude Man Apprehended at East Arlington Bus Stop

A nude man at an MBTA bus stop in East Arlington was taken into custody by police early Sunday morning. Arlington police responded to the bus stop in front of Homewood Suites on Mass. Ave. at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of a nude white male.

Upon arrival, officers found the man, who was completely naked, sitting on a concrete slab. The man told police that he had been walking around for a few hours in the buff (it was snowing early Sunday morning). He said he was not sure how he got to the bus stop but he thought he might have walked there from Somerville, according to police.

Two Men Arrested In Series Of Tewksbury Car Breaks

Police believe they have solved a recent string of car breaks that has businesses all along Route 38.

Tewksbury officers arrested Joseph Arnold, 20, of 125 Salem St., Wilmington and Howard Hall, 20, of 2020 Main St., Tewksbury on Wednesday.

The men are accused of breaking into several vehicles over the last few weeks.
