New Early Education Center Ready for Opening

With construction complete at The Learning Experience, it's nearly time for opening day on Main Street.

For Vaishali Mitta, the start of the school year is particularly exciting.

Mitta is the owner of the Wilmington location of The Learning Experience, which was constructed over the last year or so on Main Street behind Sonic, will open its doors for business on Monday, August 27.

“There’s been a lot of progress,” said Mitta. “I have had a very good response from the town, and things are moving very fast. We have a lot of enrollment and a lot of leads, and the building came out the way I needed it to.”

Mitta and her staff held an open house on August 18 at the early learning center, unveiling the facility to the public for the first time.

Come opening day, The Learning Experience will begin with seven enrolled students, though that number is expected to grow throughout the year.

Learning Experience facilities, which have locations throughout Massachusetts and around the country, offer childcare for ages six weeks to five years and after school care for children up to eight years old.

“The Learning Experience is the perfect home away from home,” the company’s website reads. “We know that choosing care for your little one(s) is an important decision and greatly affects the life of your child and your family. We pride ourselves on our warm and loving teachers, phenomenal curriculums and simple extras that make bringing your child to daycare an easy and stress free event.”

Children who enroll at The Learning Experience are taught a variety of subjects that help them start learning at an early age.

“I look forward to seeing the students’ social and cognitive development, which they’ll be getting through the care of our teachers,” said Mitta. “I am very excited about the opening. I can’t wait to see the building running. I want to make sure I can help everyone’s needs, from teachers to parents, staff and everyone. I’ll be happy if I can help all of those people out.”

Anyone with questions about the facility or interest in signing up their children can call The Learning Experience at (978) 447-5296 or e-mail Mitta directly.

Mitta said she’s proud of the finished product, and excited to now focus on the customers.

“I can’t wait to see everything moving and my doors opening,” said Mitta. “With construction completed, it’s now time to focus on the development of the kids.”
