Missing Teen Located Safely in Tewksbury

A Patch reader with sharp eyes helped police located a missing 14-year-old Wilmington resident who had walked out of a group home.

The teenager who was missing after he walked out of Milestone Group Home on August 3 was tracked down on Wednesday night in Tewksbury.

Police and family members were searching for Kenny Anglemyer, 14, for several days without any leads.

Then on Wednesday at about 7 p.m., a Wilmington resident who knew Anglemyer was missing after reading about him on Wilmington Patch spotted him near Walgreens in Tewksbury. The woman called Tewksbury police, who picked Anglemyer up soon after.

Kenny's mother, Deb Anglemyer, confirmed late Wednesday night that Kenny had indeed been found and brought back to Wilmington.

"We found him," she wrote. "Thank you so much."
