Junior forward Cam Owens netted three goals, inclouding the game-winner with 7:33 left in the third period at TD Garden in Boston to propel Wilmington to its first state championship in school history.

The Wildcats hopped out to a 2-0 lead in the second period, but South Division 2 champion, last year's state runner up, knotted things at 2-2 before the frame was out.

But Owens had the last word, capping off a spectacular playoff run with his third tally.
