What a week it was in Wilmington.
Once again the town's annual week of Fourth of July festivities was a huge success, with thousands of people coming to a long list of events over a five day span.
And the grand finale came on Tuesday night with the final night of the carnival, and of course the spectacular fireworks display put on by Tony Gentile and his crew.
There wasn't a seat to be had on Town Common as residents packed the grass for the fireworks, and closed out the year's festivities with a loud round of applause.
