1. If you've got the day off for Labor Day, conditions will be great for a day in the sun. According to Weather.com, temperatures will settle in at a comfortable on 77° Monday. There is just a 10 percent chance of rain on the day and skies will be sunny throughout.
2. There is no school in Wilmington on Monday. Due to the Labor Day holiday, the town's schools will be empty to start the week. Students return to class on Tuesday as the new school year rolls on. Also starting this week is varsity athletics, with a busy slate starting midweek.
3. Schools aren't the only things closed on Labor Day. Also shut down until Tuesday are Town Hall, Wilmington Memorial Library and the Registry of Motor Vehicles, among others.
