  • According to the NWS, today there will be a slight chance of showers before 8am. Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 71. North wind 6 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
  • Tonight A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1am. Increasing clouds, with a low around 46. South wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Thursday Mostly cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 67. West wind 10 to 13 mph.

2. It's Happening Today: There will be a public Memorial Service for Wilmington native Sean Collier, today at Noon on the campus of MIT in Cambridge. Collier, an MIT Police Officer, was murdered last week, allegedly by the two men believed to be responsible for the Boston Marathon bombings. 4. By the Numbers: 51. According to the Associated Press, that is the number of patients still hospitalized with injuries from the Boston Marathon bombings. A total of 260 people were injured in the two blasts.
