I would like to start a community mailing list. I moved from Arlington to Wilmington and Arlington has an amazing email list serve that people use to communicate the happenings, things to do, yard sale, things to sell, things to give away, help needed. It's an email list serve that is for residents.

I want to start it in Wilmington because I find the arlington one a useful tool to get to know people around the community. It's free through yahoo groups.

The site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wilmingtonlist/ to sign up. After that, people can use wilmingtonlist@yahoogroups.com to email messages to all the people on the list for questions, things to sell, things to giveaway, things to do, etc..
