Wilmington High Schools Choral and Theatre Support group (WHS C.A.T.S.) is proud to
announce:
Our fifth annual A Cappella concert - March-A-Pella V to be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 7pm at The Wilmington Middle School.
March-A-Pella is an all a cappella music event
featuring High School, College and Professional a cappella groups. If you have never seen an a cappella concert, you must come and see what an amazing talent singing a cappella is. In addition to singing words, a cappella singers emulate instrumentation by reproducing the melody with their vocal cords, in other words, there are no
instruments!
This
Year's performers are:
Wilmington High School's – Soundscape, UMass Lowell's – Hawkapella, Suffolk University's – Ramifications, and Endicott College's - Harmonic Overtones.
Featured Performers are:
Boston's Own Semi Professional group:
Fermata Town is comprised of 13 singers, who bring an energetic and fresh sound to the stage. They are a semi-professional coed a cappella group, based out of Boston, Mass.,
And headlining this year's concert once again, Professional Recording Artist:
Ball in the House is 5 Guys, 5 Voices, and a sound that will astound and amaze you, THAT’S IT… a review from the Boston Globe put it very succinctly –
“Ball in the House has everything you would expect to find in a successful pop/rock band…the only thing it doesn’t have is INSTRUMENTS!!!”
